Managed IT for trucking companies.

Trucking carriers run on dispatch consoles, ELD telematics, GPS, and a tight settlement loop. EFROS keeps the IT around all of it accountable under one SLA — uptime when dispatch needs it, cybersecurity when the broker fraud kicks in, and documentation when the cyber insurance renewal lands.

Where the risk lives in trucking.

01

Dispatch console downtime

Carrier-level dispatch consoles tie directly into TMS, ELD, and customer EDI feeds. A 30-minute outage stops driver assignment for an entire shift.

02

ELD provider integration breaks

Vendor-side ELD changes routinely break the dispatch integration. Without IT in the loop, drivers run out of compliant hours-of-service before the fix lands.

03

Fuel card fraud

Driver credentials get sold or phished and the fuel program absorbs four-to-five-figure fraud overnight. Recovery is slow and the audit trail is thin.

04

Fleet tablet/phone provisioning

Driver turnover drives constant device onboarding. Without MDM (Intune/Jamf), lost devices remain enrolled and ex-drivers retain access to dispatch app credentials.

05

Microsoft 365 mailbox takeover

BEC against accounting or operations gives attackers visibility into broker relationships, settlement timing, and customer invoicing. The fraud follows the pattern they observed for weeks.

06

Ransomware on a back-office workstation

Settlement, factoring, and IFTA filings concentrate in a few back-office machines. One unpatched device encrypts the file share and freezes the financial cycle.

What's included.

  • Microsoft 365 baseline (Conditional Access, MFA, Defender XDR)
  • Dispatch console + TMS administration and monitoring
  • ELD / GPS integration support and vendor coordination
  • Fleet device management (Intune, Jamf, MDM) with lost-device wipe
  • EDR on dispatch, accounting, settlement, and IFTA workstations
  • Email authentication enforcement (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS)
  • Backup readiness for TMS, accounting, document repositories
  • VoIP / 3CX continuity for driver and customer calls
  • Domain monitoring for lookalike carrier and broker impersonation
  • Incident response runbooks built for asset-based operations

FAQ.

Do you replace our TMS or ELD vendor?

No. EFROS does not replace your TMS, ELD, or GPS. We harden everything around them — identity, mail, endpoint, network, backup — and document the third-party vendor risk so insurance and audit reviewers have what they need.

We have drivers in 30 states. Can you support a distributed fleet?

Yes. The fleet device management lives in cloud-based MDM (Intune or Jamf), so onboarding and offboarding work the same in California as they do in Pennsylvania. Driver helpdesk operates 24/7.

We were hit by fuel-card fraud last quarter. Where do we start?

Step one is the Free Security Score on your domain — the email-authentication weaknesses that enable driver-credential phishing surface there. Step two is a Microsoft 365 baseline with MFA enforcement on every driver account and a fuel-card-specific awareness training. Most of the residual fraud goes away inside ninety days.
